Part I: The Pink Portal – Love, Pain, and the Sacred Union

May arrived like a prophecy whispered through thunder. Every night, I wasn’t just dreaming-I was receiving, remembering, and rescuing. This month, three portals opened in my dreams. Three moons hovered above me. And one by one, I closed them. This is the story of the first.

The Dream: The Laboratory and the Dragon

I found myself in a dim, sterile laboratory. A man lay on a cold metal table, bound, half-naked, covered in electrodes. Let’s call him James. James was being tortured-not just physically, but spiritually. And I was both myself and somehow him.

There was a doctor, a shadowy figure, tormenting him for information. James was drenched in sweat, screaming, writhing. The room reeked of pain and powerlessness. But then something snapped. I merged fully into James’s body, took what strength he had left, reached for the cables and wrapped them around the doctor’s neck.

I fought. I killed. I freed.

And then I was back in my own body. James was free. We escaped. We hid. He showered. We shared silence and softness. There was a moment, tender and close, where it felt like we might kiss.

But there was still something wrong. Something watching. A presence. And the dream cut before I could make sense of it.

Symbolism & Energetic Meaning

James / The Wounded Masculine
James is the archetype of the divine masculine within me-bound, abused, silenced. He’s also every man I ever tried to save. Every protector who needed protection. Every part of myself that was taught to shut up, take it, endure.

The Laboratory
A space of sterile suffering. Cold. Unfeeling. It represents trauma through systems, science, or intellect. The parts of us dissected instead of held. Tortured for our truth.

The Dragon
Though not fully present in this dream, the dragon appears in the next. Its echo is already here. Dragons are guardians of power and prophecy. It was watching. Waiting.

The Portal (Pink)
Though I didn’t see a literal portal in this dream, I later saw it in a waking vision. The energy was pink-not romantic, but sinister. This portal was opened through pain and control inflicted on love. It was powered by emotional wounding and spiritual bondage. And it was closed through direct confrontation and soul fusion.

Portal Analysis

Color: Pink
Chakra: Heart (with echoes in the heart)
Theme: Wounding through intimacy and manipulation; trauma in connection; distorted masculine and feminine dynamics
Opened by: Torture and spiritual fragmentation of the masculine
Closed by: Merging with the wounded self. Taking back power. Protection through direct action.

This portal wasn’t about love. It was about distortion. A parasite disguised as intimacy. Reclaiming my power required me to step into the wound, not bypass it.

This was the first gate.

Reflection

I didn’t realize what I had done until the second portal arrived. But this one? This one was deep. Violent. Initiatory. It reminded me that healing doesn’t always come wrapped in softness. Sometimes it comes with blood and fire and cables.

And maybe James wasn’t just a man. Maybe he was the boy inside me who learned pain before he learned peace. Maybe he was the first fracture I ever sealed.

Next comes the Blue Portal. And war.
