Part of the Soul Threads series – a collection of real dreams, visions, and soul memories across timelines. These stories are sacred, anonymous, and deeply personal. Each thread is a glimpse into the unseen, remembered not for fame, but for healing.
There was someone I used know. We were close professionally-just coworkers-but there was something about him that caught me instantly. Even in our first conversation, I felt pulled toward him. A spark. Not necessarily romantic, just… familiar.
We worked together well-shared ideas, had lunches, bounced off each other’s humor. I found him charming, intelligent, magnetic. I started wondering more about him. Was he married? Was he single? Was there a chance?
Then the dreams began.
At first, they were playful. He would initiate the connection-flirting, hugging, kissing me softly. The dreams weren’t random or subtle. They felt like real interactions, like we were meeting in a shared dreamscape. I wasn’t asking for them, but they kept coming. And they felt good. Comforting. Exciting.
Then they changed. The dreams grew vivid, layered. In one, we had a beautiful wedding-me in a white dress, him in a dark blue suit. It was outside, glowing with joy. I felt so content, so certain. We were surrounded by friends, family, laughter. I don’t even want a wedding in this life, not like that-but it felt right. It made sense. I remember our vows. I remember the music.
Later, I saw us in a car with a daughter. Singing. Laughing. Radiating happiness. I don’t even want children in this life, but in that dream, it was so real. So perfect. So natural. It felt like a life I had already lived and was now remembering.
And then another timeline. In this one, I was the owner of a vegan bakery-my dream job. He came in with his mother. I was flustered from arguing with my own mom, trying to get her to stop interfering with the business. And then he walked in. Smiling. Stunning. It was love at first sight. We flirted. Exchanged numbers. I knew we would date in that timeline too.
Over time, the dreams multiplied. I saw us visiting each other’s families. Holidays. Quiet evenings. Hugs that felt like home. It became so vivid I could smell the bread in the bakery, feel the warmth of his hand, hear the laughter in the car. It was like I wasn’t dreaming of a life-I was returning to one.
But in this life… things were different.
He wasn’t available. He was married-to someone else, in a way I hadn’t expected. And when I began to see more clearly-when the veil of the dreams started to lift-I saw parts of him I had ignored. Manipulations. Ego. Small cruelties hidden behind charm. He wasn’t the man from my dreams. Not even close.
Eventually, I left the company. And when I did, he disappeared. From real life. From my dreams. Just… gone. As if he’d never existed.
Looking back, I wonder if his presence was ever about him. Maybe he came to awaken something in me. Maybe he arrived as a mirror-not of my future, but of my soul’s potential. Maybe all those alternate timelines were versions of what I could build-not with him, but for myself.
It’s strange to feel grief for someone you never really loved in this life, but loved deeply in so many others. To feel heartbreak over a family you never had, but remember like it was yesterday.
But I don’t regret it. Not the dreams. Not the spark. Not the aching clarity.
Sometimes, soul threads are meant to loosen. To tangle, then unravel. To show us what we want. To show us what we deserve. And to leave, when their part is done.
This is an example of timeline entanglement and emotional bleed-through, when a soul contract shared in multiple lifetimes activates memories in ways that confuse the heart and body. What I experienced weren’t just dreams, they were alternate realities where our story played out differently. The pull I felt in this life wasn’t to *him*—it was to the love that existed *elsewhere*. And when I saw him clearly here, I understood the truth: I was never meant to stay. I was just meant to remember.
